Light Maintenance – Service Calls & Materials

Use these when you have a small issue that needs a quick hands-on fix during or between guest stays.

How it works: we keep service call pricing simple and use the Materials & Parts Add-On only when something must be purchased separately.

Travel Premiums: certain zones (Sanibel, Captiva, select remote areas) may include an additional travel premium to cover extra drive time, bridge tolls, and island logistics. These are always disclosed upfront.

Green Cleaning Policy

  • We default to eco-friendly cleaning products for all standard jobs.
  • Concentrates and refills are used whenever practical to cut waste.
  • Microfiber systems and color-coding reduce cross-contamination.
  • Harsh chemicals are reserved for special situations (and disclosed).
  • We are happy to follow owner-supplied product preferences within reason.

Holiday, Weekend & Rush Policies

  • Weekend and holiday premiums may apply based on demand.
  • Same-day “emergency” slots are limited and priced accordingly.
  • We’ll quote and get approval before applying any rush or holiday fees.

Employee Respect & Recognition

  • Employees earn badges for perfect attendance and client praise.
  • We use a transparent points system for bonuses — no favoritism.
  • Safety and health come before speed; nobody is pushed beyond limits.

Materials & Parts Add-On Policy

Only used when something must be purchased specifically for your service call.

Our goal is to keep your invoices simple and fair. Labor and travel are covered by the Light Maintenance Service Call products. We only add a separate Materials & Parts Add-On line when we have to purchase something specifically to solve your issue.

  • Examples of materials: new propane tank for BBQ, specialty light bulbs, replacement shower head, smoke detector batteries, minor hardware (screws, brackets, etc.).
  • Approval first: we text/email you a quick estimate before purchasing materials and wait for your “OK”.
  • How it appears: on your receipt/invoice as “Materials & Parts Add-On – billed at actual cost of parts + sourcing margin”.
  • No surprise markups: our sourcing margin is modest and meant to cover the time and fuel needed to pick up items.
  • Owner-supplied parts: if you prefer to supply your own parts, we simply bill the service call with no materials line.
